About Armic
ARMIC - Australian Recorded Music Industry Collective is an an alumni social club group of former and current staff and associates from Australian Record Companies and Labels, Music Retailers and Music Media. We are currently Melbourne based with an intention to open up branches in each state.
Initially we currently plan to host two key events in Melbourne such as the long running and legendary annual 'Whelan Dinner' as well as Sunday Arvo Drinks (at a venue to be advised - twice a year). Overtime more attributes of ARMIC will be unveiled.
Becoming an ARMIC member (which is free) will give you notice of these events when they are unveiled. To become an ARMIC member, you need to be a current or former employee, contractor and/or associate of either an Australian record company / label, an Australian music retailer, or a member of the Australian music media. You also need to be identified / validated by one of our existing members to be accepted into ARMIC.
